Featherlite Manufacturing: Pierce & Roll. One of the long-standing benefits to owning a Featherlite trailer is that it’s built with our pierce & roll roof system. With this manufacturing, high strength rivets go into the aluminum, but no hole fully pierces the roof’s skin. Instead a secure, water-resistant crown forms up and around the bottom of every rivet, reducing opportunities for water leakage. Featherlite Manufacturing: New Equipment. Behind the scenes we’re working hard to deliver quality built trailers you can rely on for years! We’re continuing to upgrade our facilities and equipment to make sure we continue to deliver on that high standard. Industrial Engineer Blake Lawston shows us a couple new recent additions to our manufacturing plant.

Featherlite Manufacturing: Unibody Construction. All components of a Featherlite trailer from side posts to roof rails to roof bows to cross members are engineered into a uni-body design. The uni-body design makes the trailer stronger and more durable for the long haul.

Inside Look: Model 4410 Fenderettes. The newly redesigned Model 4410 car hauler features our new smooth bottom trim and fenderette design. It gets its inspiration from the fender design of our industry-leading race transporters! Watch to learn what makes this new design stand out!

Inside Look: Model 4410 Cabinets. Laminate base and overhead cabinets are now optional in the Model 4410 car hauler. These cabinets are built in house by the Featherlite team, which is the same team that builds all the cabinets you see inside the NASCAR and other specialty transporters we build. They’re durable, high quality, functional and great-looking!

Inside Look: Model 4410 Rivetless Sides. One of the new standout features on the Model 4410 car hauler is our patent pending smooth rivetless side sheets. This new design our team created gives the trailer a sleeker, smoother looking exterior. It also allows for easier graphic application. Watch to learn more about this new design!
